Central Texas glass plate negative collection
A collection of 46 4x5 glass plate negatives showing scenes around Central Texas, including San Antonio and San Marcos, as well as one image of the Parke County Courthouse in Rockville, Indiana. Based on research into the scenes that could be identified, images were likely between 1882 and 1911.

Commencement records
This collection consists primarily of commencement programs. With a small amount of additional materials and recordings. Texas State University was established by the 26th Legislature in 1899 as the Southwest Texas State Normal School; 313 pupils were enrolled in 1903-04, the first year classes were held.
Common Experience collection
Each year since 2004, the Common Experience events bring students together to read and engage with a powerful text, and explore related themes in University Seminar classes. Collection consists of background and planning materials, press releases, posters, calendars of events, as well as each year's book.
Constituting documents of Texas State University
This collection includes drafts of the House Bill 696 of the 26th Regular Session of the Texas Legislature (1899), which founded the normal school in San Marcos, Texas that is now Texas State University. It also includes copies of consitutional documents from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
Craddock oral history project records
This collection consists of fifty-nine oral history interviews conducted by Dr. Emmie Craddock and her students as part of her graduate seminar. Topic vary widely and pertain to the local and regional history of San Marcos and the surrounding area, families and genealogy as well as experiences working or attending the at the university.
Daniel Garcia collection of LBJ images
Digital images of photographs picturing Dan Garcia and Lyndon B. Johnson. Garcia was a student of Lyndon Johnson's during the time that he taught school in Cotulla, Texas. Images consists of Dan meeting with Johnson as well as images of Johnson's visit to Cotulla in 1966. Also includes a group portrait from 1928 of LBJ with some of the students he taught.

Department of Computer Science proposal
Contents of two notebooks documenting the creation of the Computer Science department at Texas State, from early discussions to implementation. Bulk of materials are correspondence and draft proposals, with notes and occasional clippings. Of particular note is folder 1, Chronology of Approvals, that are single-page handwritten notes that begin with "Rejoice" and document the dates of required administrative approvals for the program.
